Brooke Tobia has over ten years of teaching experience within the fields of Mathematics, Science and English. She specializes in project based learning, student self-assessment, and innovation within the classroom. Brooke is currently part of Calavera Hills Middle School’s Math department, runs the “Magnificent Me” student led conferences and engages her students through a grade-level, student ran business. As a natural leader, she works closely in supporting other teachers in Project Based Learning and risk-taking within education. She models vulnerability and transparency with her successes and failures and prides herself on the ability to seize opportunity whenever it arises. Her passion for helping educators transition towards more relevant practice has Brooke speaking at numerous conferences including The Deeper Learning Conference in 2018.
