Getting Rid of Multi-tab Teaching and Using Formative Assessment Data to Drive Instruction with Nearpod
How do you use the devices in your classroom?  This is a question that is becoming more and more common.  The answer is simple.  I use devices to create a two way street of learning.  I control the lesson on my students device. This allows us to interact with assessment tools that I push out.  I use that data to guide my lessons.  Because of this approach, I can bring my students anywhere in the world with VR lessons.  I can gamify assessments.  I can use media, social media, and student creativity to enrich the learning environment.  Best of all, I can do all of this while never leaving my Teaching and Learning platform.

*Attendees who attend this session will be entered to win a Year long Platinum Nearpod Licence.

Learning Outcomes:
1. Understand Nearpod and its key features
2. Experience Nearpod from the perspective of a student, discovering how formative assessment can be used to make personalized learning decisions for students.
3. Discover how the on-the-fly feature can be used to guide students based upon choice and voice of students.
4. Leave the session with the knowledge of how to implement Nearpod in your own classroom.
5. Leave the session with the understanding of how to create your own Nearpod to meet the needs of your students.
